This actually started off as a pretty dejected sketch with no purpose until Bryan told me that despite obvious anatomical and proportional errors, he really liked it. So one morning, having come down stairs to enjoy my solitude and finding that my mother had taken the day off, I retreated to my room and colored/animated this.

Drawn, actually shortly after "wasteland' when someone rather bluntly suggested that I draw something happy and with color. So I did. And I was rather happy with the result. =D Sometimes I wonder if anyone ever understood the title. But I know that's highly unlikely as it is an obscure reference to Deadliest Catch. XD

It was pouring rain yesterday night as I sat out on the steps leading from my deck, contemplating whatever. Felt inspired to draw something of it while riding the bus today. I think I like rain a little too much. Dextroamphetamine "Dex" is mine and is intentionally drawn absurdly skinny.

Commission for Airguitar, this image was an absolute joy to color. Save for that cactus. 38< Clouds were referenced off of my photo: http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j24/gearotter/photos/stormclouds1.jpg because I can't quite get big clouds to look right on my own, yet. Getting there though. And the wear on the sign is inspired by the one in my room. And yes, it is meant to look like Rush's live cover for Snakes and Arrows. Airguitar belongs to her creator

Clouds were also referenced off of a bunch of thunderstorm photos I took awhile back.

Keer reading Link's dog tag while she sleeps snuggled against him. Calatonan soldiers are given alphanumeric serial numbers that they are identified with in government systems and records. It makes it a lot easier to identify wounded and/or dead in battle, for example, Keer's tag reads MZK.49o1 on one side and one would simply have to enter this sequence of numbers into a hand held computer and they would be able to access his personal information, including, but not limited to previous occupations, living records, etc. On the other side is just a quick stat listing; full name, blood type, and DOB. Link's tag seems to be an exception to the norm, in that she only has a number, no letters, just a number; 5. Keer is curious about this, especially because Link apparently has no records in any database, neither does her ID number yield any results. According to the Calatonan government, she doesn't even exist.

In a fit of "IMTIREDOFWORKINGONTHISCOMMISSION" I colored this. My brain said I should make this grey and dismal, my hands disagreed and went for something apocalyptic. Ayep. That's Link's reinforced cricket bat, by the way. I know a few people who I showed the WIP to earlier were asking.
