LOOK AT THE SIMPLE BEAUTY OF THE OVERHEAD PANEL. This has been kicking around my HD for awhile, so I decided to add in the instrument panels and have it be finished. Either one of her gear lights is out or the gear itself isn't extended. I'll let you decide.

Just kinda. Practicing with color. And with drawing with my tablet. I'm getting faster. 1. TJ Lux, taking a brief reprieve from a visit with his family in Nevada, and having a beer to himself in the foothills. Pausing in his thoughts, if only to think of someone. 2. ...the day I learn to fly. 3. Jake lost in thought, while Lux decides that he's had enough of the cold and the snow and heads back to the hangar to go warm up. 4. He's good at making her blush.

Uh. This is Delores, one of GlennAir's three MD-11s. She's a hangar queen. I hate her. She brings me bad luck in Photoshop. There's so much more I wanted to do to this, but now I can't, thanks to the file being FUBAR'd. =\ Anyhow. Lux and Dex flying off /somewhere/ to go deliver cargo all around the world. Lux is happily snoozing away while Dex minds the aircraft. Not that she really minds, though she's tempted to roll the plane just to wake her captain up.

This actually started off as a pretty dejected sketch with no purpose until Bryan told me that despite obvious anatomical and proportional errors, he really liked it. So one morning, having come down stairs to enjoy my solitude and finding that my mother had taken the day off, I retreated to my room and colored/animated this.

Drawn, actually shortly after "wasteland' when someone rather bluntly suggested that I draw something happy and with color. So I did. And I was rather happy with the result. =D Sometimes I wonder if anyone ever understood the title. But I know that's highly unlikely as it is an obscure reference to Deadliest Catch. XD
